O2 Academy Islington is a well-established North London live music venue located near Angel, known for hosting club nights, touring acts and emerging artists in an intimate live setting. With a main room capacity of around 800 and an adjoining smaller Academy2 space of around 250, the venue is well suited to everything from showcase events and grassroots bills to larger touring performances.

Since opening in 2003 with Alkaline Trio, O2 Academy Islington has built a strong live music reputation, with artists including Muse, The Cure, Eminem, Beck, KISS, Biffy Clyro and The Script having played the venue in its earlier years.
